Observation notes: Flying and alighting on moist ground surrounding a seep of the otherwise dry creek in Bear Canyon, as well as on an adjacent rock. Probably taking in moisture/minerals and possibly basking. Seven other species were in attendance at this seep including two Thicket Hairstreaks, perhaps two SW Orange-tips, one Margined White, a Hoary Comma, one Mourning Cloak, and a Duskywing sp.
