Observation notes: Well, this one may be tough to confirm but I'm 95%+ confident in the ID. That brown orange color with smallish white spots is unique to Queen. I got good looks at the butterfly through my 8.5x binoculars but the bug would not land and all I managed were some very blurry flights shots. Viceroy could've been an option but this 'fly lacked the extra black line, color was wrong and the habitat (alfalfa field) was wrong.

Coordinator notes: Bob, I can't argue with your logic. It's an unfocused queen, but a queen nonetheless.
