Observation notes: I found a good amount of these feeding on Nerium Oleander, hundreds, despite the winter temperatures. Young larvae were feeding gregariously and dropped easily when bothered. Many of their pupae were found between pieces of bark on a pine tree near them, suggestive of the typical wandering behavior that larvae exhibit when preparing to pupate. They were not like some larvae, who remain still when interrupted, but rather are fast moving.
