Identification: Forewing light brown with blackish shading inside the antemedial and postmedial lines; note 2 broad, sharp teeth on postmedial line, and black apical marking. Hindwing dark graish brown with 2 faint lines.

Range: New Jersey to Florida, west to Missouri and Texas. Rare northward.
