Coordinator notes: Without a specific locality I can't be sure what subspecies you have, if you were at Rock Corral, it would be corralensis. Neither Anicia or Colon Checkerspots (also called Variable Checkerspots) are known from San Bernardino County.-Ken Davenport Locality information is 50% of getting ID's right. If such information, it involves guesswork and often rejection of a submission....subspecies kingstonensis another reddish subspecies is in eastern San Bernardino County-Ken Davenport
