Observation notes: At least two individuals were hill-topping on a rather windy day on the summit of a steep peak with a distinct and small summit area. A nearby peak with a more broad, ridgeline type of summit didn't have any Checkerspots, even though it was significantly higher and the wind wasn't any stronger there.
