Phaon Crescent
Phyciodes phaon

Observation date: September 13, 2023
Submitted by: Cascade Colors
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: The contrast in coloration is extremely evident compared to the other Pearl submissions I've made, and the contrast was very evident in person compared to all of the pearl's I saw while hiking. So I thought it had to be the Phaon. Too, it looks quite like several of the Phaon's that have been submitted to Bamona. It does appear to be pretty worn, though, and I noticed a few Bamona Pearl's that were i.d'd as worn females even though they visually look just like some of the phaon photos.
