Coordinator notes: Your sighting is Weidemeyer's Admiral...our iconic black and white colored butterfly found throughout the mountains to about 10,000 feet altitude and in some city areas as well out onto the eastern plains. The Indra Swallowtail is also black but has yellow bands made up of smaller spots and not large white ones as Weidemeyer's Admiral. Mike
