Coordinator notes: Your ID is correct. Genetic study shows the species name tullia applies only to some populations at high latitude in the arctic and in the Palaearctic (Old World). Our western populations of ringlets (and those across the rest of North America) are evidently all related and the oldest applicable species name for them to replace C. tullia is C. california. Mike
