Observation notes: This was by the back door staff entrance near our loading dock at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. The specimen was on the ground. It was roughly 3 pm in the afternoon. We do have a light by that door so one wonders if this moth had been there early in the morning after being attracted to the light and stayed in the vicinity.
